About the founder
Karina Amaral, responsible for Almeida & Amaral Advogados, graduated in Law in Brazil, her country of origin. In 2007, she went to Portugal to do her Masters at the University of Lisbon. Later, in 2015, she also completed the PhD Course at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa.
As a jurist, Karina has written several articles for scientific journals, collaborated as an “academic peer” for Revista Missión Jurídica (ISSN 1794-600X) and provided legal consulting services to Portuguese and Brazilian companies. In addition, she is a lawyer registered with the Portuguese Bar Association, Professional License No. 55926L, Regional Council of Lisbon, and has worked in several areas of law, specializing in Portuguese citizenship, immigration and foreign judgment review processes.
